Chanterelle Inn Foraging

In our pursuit of local food we will serve you Herbs and Flowers from our garden, Wild Mushrooms and Plants foraged in the beautiful woods of our property.

Cape Breton Seafood

Lobster, Crab, Halibut, Tuna as well as Mussels and Oysters come from the local fishers and cultivators from Englishtown and Little River Wharf.

Ethical Farming

Our beautiful and happy animals such as Pork, Chicken and Beef, are lovingly raised by:

  • Chicken, Beef and Goat, raised by Dawna and Forrester from Diori Maple Farms,

  • Cheese Curds, Fromage Blanc, Milk, Ice Cream and Beef from Skye Glen Creamery owned and operated by Meagan and Matt.

  • Micro Greens, Salad Greens, Peppers, Tomatoes, Potatoes, Radishes, Turnips, Asparagus, Onions, Garlic and much more by

    Claudia & Sebastian from Southside Pastures via the Food Hub

  • Hanks Farm for veggies

  • Eyking Farms provides us with free range eggs

Local Preserves

Our wonderful local honey and maple Syrup, Jams, Pickles and all the other produce you will find at our place is sourced by a number of local farmers in the nearby area.

Our Coffee is roasted locally as well by Steve from Bungalow Beans and our teas are crafted by the The Tea Haus.
